Mission Home

Found some fun photos on the mission blog!

The New Elders gathering their luggage.

All the new missionaries in some new missionary meeting!

 The Elders found one of the world's largest insects, the weta, it is only found in New Zealand and it is said to be older than the dinosaurs. They do bite! {I'm pretty sure that's Elder Nevitt's head down there by that biting bug!}

Eating with President Kezerian.

Safe Arrival.

We wanted to let you know of our pleasure in welcoming your son to the mission field.

We look forward to serving the Lord together in this wonderful country of New Zealand. The beauty and strength of the land and the people is evident the moment you get here. We have a mission blog if you want to look at it you will soon see pictures of your son.

We know all your family will be blessed because of the faithful service of Elder Nevitt. His testimony, talents, and abilities will all be enhanced as he diligently completes his missionary service. We look forward to hearing his testimony tomorrow night. We can feel the excitement he has to arrive in his first area of labor. Thank you for helping him prepare so well.

Warmest regards,

President and Sister Kezerian

25 March 2013.

I can't Believe how long these two weeks have been. I have learned so much! But at the same time I feel like it is to overwhelming. But I knew if I do what's right it will be alright.

Megan, I just want to tell you I love you! I pray that your leg  is alright. I'm sorry that it has happened to you.

Ole, Jane and Kaydee, I love you guys so much. I look at the pictures on my camera and I just love Kaydee so much. Sorry I'm not there to give you a break from the Ipad.

Melanie, Preston and the boys, I miss your little boys so much. I just keep on thinking at what they look like and what I remember about them. 7, 5, 3 and I hope to have a little niece there also!! Keep my Facebook up and Instagram, add photos of my mission to that. Hahaha.

Malinda, I wish you were here with me. We went to the Hamilton temple and I felt like I was in the middle of  Rohan with Fangorn Forest all around!! I miss you so much. Hope you are getting lots of job offers for subs.

Sissa, they already gave me a hair cut! Yesterday all the elders got their hair trimmed. I was like this is the first time my sister has not cut my hair.

Mom, you have no need to worry about me, I am going great. I'm tired all the time. I sometimes need you but I am alright. I get along with almost everyone here. I just need to have food and the Tongans love me.

Papa, thanks for the scriptures. Whenever I miss you I play with my little tractor pin and read them. Some of the pages are gone in 2 Nephi and a couple of others but I guess I have to study some.

We did a session at the temple and I felt Pop. I fell asleep during the second one. This is all I'm gonna write, I'm kind of tired of writing. I have already written a lot in my journal and then writing a letter hard. I will write one to Mema and Pop soon.

24 March 2013.

I love you guys so much I sent another letter in the mail two small ones for you guys and Mema and Pop! But I don't know you got it or not just letting you know!!! I leave for Wellington in the morning. I am very excited to know that I am finally going to be in the mission. We had a fireside where everybody sang something and the group of Tongans said I was singing with them and I did. Just by having one of them as a companion I have become part of their group! I now have a great love for all of them even though I can't even say their names or anything like that. I miss you guys so much!!!! I hope to have a companion I can get along and understand in the field!

On the way to the temple it was very exciting so many farm areas and stuff like that. It reminds me of Idaho and Montana area, just hills and having stuff grow on them! Tons of cattle and sheep it was very pretty! It was a very pretty temple, old but very pretty! While at the temple there was a construction crew and they were using John Deere tractors so I asked them if I could take a picture with it and I got one!! Hahaha While on the bus I also went by a few tractor company shops and there was a Case one and I was like Tom Scott!!! While at the temple during the second session I feel asleep during it but not bad but its hard work and I never get to take a nap!! One of the things I miss the most about being home with you!!! Tell the boys I love them. I'm running out of time, Love you!!!!!

17 March 2013

Well it has been a couple of days here at the MTC. I am having a great time. The people that work here are really people of God. My teachers are Sister Fata and Brother To--I don't know how to say or write it. My comp is a really nice guy. We get along well and have a real good time. At times he is way to chill but it is alright. This morning, Sunday morning, we had district meeting kind of like Sunday School. I was asked to give a little talk on why I am on a mission. I really could only think of examples in my life as to why I went on a mission. The one I shared was Mema and how she was able to be a great missionary for Pop. And how she strong and courageous she really is. And how she is still fighting her strokes.

I know I will be able to email you before you get this letter but I just want you to know I miss you all so very much. Today is the 17th I leave to Wellington on the 26th.

Tell everyone thanks for the prayers. I love you. Tell Baby Kaydee I love her and you can tell the boys I love them also. Man I really am missing Facebook. Thanks all of you guys!!

P.S. Is this long enough? Hahaha.

13 March 2013.

Well the plane ride was fine. It just felt like a big bumpy bus ride and they gave me two meals. I thought they weren't bad but they could have been better. I'm just glad that it kind of filled me up, I did not have to get up once during the flight!!! I watched two movies, well I didn't really watch them the people around me were watching Skyfall and The Hobbit!!! I can't wait to go out in the field and have my senior teach while I just listen. Thanks for all the prayers you guys it was not scary at all on the plane I felt the comfort of the Lord!! Thanks for all you do for me I miss all of you!! Well I was looking forward to sending you a bunch of photos of the water under me on the plane but it was dark and you couldn't see a thing. My name tag looks so cool like I am a real missionary!!!!! The MTC is great I love the food; I had spaghetti for breakfast it was different but I like it, and I had some tortilla chips I thought I wasn't going to be able to find those here. The MTC president is very cool, we had an interview and he said I will be going to the temple next Wednesday. I am in the Lehi district in room 12. I don't remember my comps name I don't think he has showed up yet! There are a lot of elders here that have been here for 4 weeks learning the English language, I am beginning to think now I am fine with the call I have of just English speaking!!!!! I have met an elder that came into my room from Samoa, I didn't understand a word he said. Uncle Randy was right; it is like a different language but I get what they are trying to say!! I love that I am out here serving...maybe it will get hard but I love it. Haha Elder Cuthbertson, I can't remember his name, said he saw you guys still out there!! It's sad but I really haven't cried that I have left you but it hasn't hit that I am really gone!!! That I am really in NEW ZEALAND! I can't remember anyone's name or even say there names it is hard for me.

Tell Jake thanks for the tie I like it a lot!!! So did the other people that saw me holding it, I told them that my best friend gave it to me and they were like that is so cool!! I share the same room with Jake Nelson and an Elder Cook, I think he is my comp but I really don't know. I have about ten minutes left and I need you to write me so I can think of what to write you next!! I love all of you at home!!! I need you to send me a lot of pictures of it, maybe that's why I'm not homesick yet but I would like some of the farm and the house and at least one of everybody in our family!!!! I miss you guys so much!!! I have been sleeping all morning, I'm gonna go play some basketball soon...hopefully I don't make a fool of myself!!!!

444 God will support, I love you all, Elder Nevitt

I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go.

"It's a dangerous business...going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."-J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Well it's official, Elder Nevitt has started his mission!

He should arrive sometime this afternoon in Auckland...around 5:00 Thursday morning in New Zealand.

He'll spend a couple weeks in the MTC then report to the Wellington Mission. Elder Nevitt was very excited when he boarded the plan--well as he passed through security--as the reality of it all finally begin to hit him. We know he will be a great missionary as he serves the people of New Zealand.

If you would like to write Elder Nevitt I know he would love to receive a letter from you, his mission address is:
